Always Tell The Truth

My family and I watch a movie this evening. It was about a game show scandal that happened in the late fiftys. It would be difficult for me to try to relate the whole story back to you. But I would suggest you watch it. The movie is called Quiz Show. What I personally got out of it was how valuable one's integrity is. Integrity, meaning one's word, how honest a person is, and how much you can trust them to tell the truth. Of course in the movie telling the truth involved money, as they often do. This movie showed how important it is to tell the truth even when it is hard. Even when you may lose some money, or a lot of money. It also showed how your lies not onle effect you but most everyone you come in contact with, whether it be your family, your friends, or, in this case, the TV audience.
This movie also demonstrated how if you are pounded with something over and over and over again, whether good or bad, you start to believe it. The more you hear it the easier it is to believe. That is why it is so vitally important as to whom you are listening. What are you feeding into your head on a regular basis? Who are you listening to?
Just some food for thought.
