I got very hot working today. When I came home I couldn't hold my eyes open. I have now come to the conclusion that the reason was, I had french toast for breakfast. The sugar I put on it was probably the main problem. The reason being for my sluggishness was, the sugar made my blood sugar rise quickly. The simple sugar didn't take long to break it down. Thus causing my blood sugar to fall rapidly. Furthermore, the sun was beating mercilessly down upon my back and together, with the humidity, almost completely zapped my adrenal glands.
I would advise anyone under these or similar circumstances to try eating fruit and/or protein for breakfast. Not a huge amount however, because your body is still trying to regulate your temperature. Another helpful thing that I found while working in the heat, is to completely saturate your shirt with water. It is amazing what a substantial difference this makes. Also, above all, thou must drink at least four sixteen-ounce bottles of water a day. Hydration is an extremely important factor in your everyday health. I just thought you might want to know that.
Toodles.

Hey Girl! Thanks for the great health reminder. And you're exactly right! Please give your sweet mom a big hug for me!
I'm glad I could be of service. Sure thing, I will definitely do that.
Sugary people do the same thing to me - they make my blood boil, then I break down. I guess I should saturate myself (be filled to overflowing) with the Holy Spirit to avoid becoming overheated and fatigued by "simple sugars." I enjoyed your thoughts.
