Unbelievable...

You would not believe what happened to me today. One of our MT team members who by the way had a witness/attorney part quit. It is 9 days till competition and that is including Sunday. As all of you can well imagine I screamed, not at the person of course just in general. Fortunately though, when we got to practice two others picked up the parts; but for heaven's sake, 9 days before competition? I mean, come on! If we win anything I'm thinking it will be a miracle. Thankfully it is only Blue Tornado and not Regional’s. It is still very challenging. It builds character. Some times I think we are getting better and sometimes I think we are getting worse. 9 days!!! This must be what some people would call a faith-building event. I still believe we can win though. If we work really hard and concentrate I think we can do it. Of course it will be by God's grace but I think we can win. I did get a really neat suit for the competition though. I will definitely stand out. I just believe we can pull it together. I am still concerned about my witness though. I gave her the answers over a week ago and we went over her part tonight. She didn't know it! I was really starting to get irritated. I guess I will have to talk to Mr. A. about it. Hopefully I can talk to him tomorrow.
I had my oral report on Wednesday. It was pretty rough. I knew my stuff it just wasn't well put together. He didn't have real specific requirements for the report. We are going to get our quarterly grades next week. I hope they turn out well. Of course that also means we only have 3 quarters left and before long we will almost be halfway done. It seemed to go fairly quickly.
The weather is gorgeous! The trees are absolutely stunning. They are all turning yellow, orange and red. It's just magnificent! I think that is why I like fall so much. It's pretty hard to believe the year is almost over again.
