My MT team won 2 out of 3 competitions during the regionals competition. We may or may not be in the finals on Saturday, if they even have them. However, the Red team won all three of their trials and is either definitely going to final and or definitely going to state. We won't know till tomorrow evening. I am so proud of my team though because on our last trial none of us used notes, none of us stood behind the podium and we all worked as a team! The trial we lost was frustrating on several accounts. Before we even got to trial my brother that was on my team and myself had the chills all day Saturday and woke up on Sunday unable to go to church because we both had fevers of 101.+. It was pretty sad. Then on Monday after much guzzling of vitamin c and all the rest of it, we felt somewhat better. I still couldn't talk very loud, but my brother was pretty much okay. The trial was weird. The judge yelled at the witnesses a lot and she picked a bad night to ask for volume. Anyway, the other team was louder and more confidants and that for the most part won the case for them, that and the judge had worked with the other team's coach before on several occasions. I will officially dub that trial the stupidest trial I have participated in thus far. Unfortunately, I did not get all my homework done before Wednesday’s class but when I told the teacher he seemed to understand. I still have a lot to catch up on. I better get back to it. <-(~TTFN~)->
