Today's the day. We are heading up to Nashville in less than 2 hours. I am really excited about this trip. I think it is going to be a lot of fun. We are going up today to practice and tomorrow they will have their first trial. Tonight when we get there we are going to scrimmage most likely. Then we will go out to eat somewhere and after that we will probably stay up late doing all kinds of crazy and hilarious things. Tomorrow we will probably scrimmage in the morning and then we are going to go to the courthouse to compete. This team is really good and I think they will do well.
It will definitely be an interesting trip up there. The people who are going are loud enough at the hospital, how much more in a full van for two hours. It ought to be fun though.
Saturday if they win we will be getting home significantly later than if we don't, but that would be a good thing.
Y'all are probably bored silly hearing about the Mock Trial stuff. Would you rather read about my bleh homework assignments? For literature I have about 120 pages to read in Gawain and the Green Knight and I have to remember enough of it to fill out a worksheet about it. For history I have to out line my notes from class, read chapter 27 in my history book and journal about it. For Latin I have 3 exercises to do besides the new vocabulary. Last but not least for Rhetoric I have a paper to write about what I think about Aristotle’s evaluation of the characteristics of people of different ages. Besides that I have a chapter in Adler to read and mark. I think that covers everything. Fun, fun, fun, eh? The fun part is trying to get it done after being gone all weekend and having to baby-sit on Monday.
Well, I guess I am wasting my precious little time on here so TTFN.
