So much to do, so little motivation...

I think I like four year olds. They are so simple. They are not always complacent but they generally do listen to you. They have such an imagination.

Why do people use the F word? What is the point? I'm sure it's like any other expletive but people even use it with supposedly good connotations. Expletives are unnecessary words. People still use them but they are unnecessary. So if they are used to express feelings, which I believe they are, why do people have to use words like that? I'm sure in some arenas those words are purely commonplace, but just because it is commonplace doesn't mean one should use it. There is this movie called A Man Without a Face staring Mel Gibson. In the movie Mel Gibson's character tells the young boy in the movie to come up with something like 5 alternatives for saying the word s***. The boy does it, and to me, it just goes to show that the language is broad enough we don't have to use that are inherently offensive to communicate during our daily life.

I got these new shoes for prom. They have about a 3-inch heel on them. I like them a lot but they do take some practice walking in them.

We finally got another dog. It is actually a puppy that is about 10 weeks old. We named her Emmie and she is so cute! She is a Lab/Chow/Border Collie mix. She is mostly black with a little white on her chest and front paws. We found her from a sign for free puppies as we drove by. Rusty seems to be getting along with her okay. Cassilda had kittens a couple of weeks ago. My brother got a picture of them the other day. They are stashed up in between the air duct and the floor. Our plan is that when the kittens are big enough to come out and play we will teach the new puppy not to mess with the cats. Pretty clever, eh?

I need to go to bed soon so I've got to get off of here. So many things to do so little motivation.

Where the people you got the dog from named Barnett (not sure how to spell it)? If so I know them.
