My memory is fading fast...

Last Thursday (June the 1st):
We (Mock Trial People) had a planning meeting for the skit we were going to do for the high school graduation banquet. After which Ethan, Mary, my brother and I went and saw Over the Hedge. It was funny but it was not the first time I had seen it. The previews were almost funnier than the movie, (Oh..So it's a girl house.) Ehm... Anyway. We had a lot of fun.

Last Friday (June the 2nd):
We the MTP went to the HS banquet. We practiced beforehand and then just did it. The last minute MCers were great and I heard comments afterward that it was the best banquet yet. A recap of our skit was basically a brief version of the MT case this past school year. We had about a third of the time to do our parts and we could only call 2 out of the 4 possible witnesses. Needless to say it was rather interesting to watch. Other highlights of the evening were the interactive mikes aka Ethan and Jeffrey. Kyle and Meredith's "what'd ya have in mind? (show knee now). I guess you would have had to be there. Of course there were the "Mr. A. jokes", for which Andrew paid dearly for consequently. And last but not least the Who's on First skit by Ethan and Owen. It was really funny. After the banquet we walked the wet bridge singing along the way. Then my mother, brother and myself went with a few friends to Waffle house till about 2:30am.

Last Saturday (the 3rd):
Bright and early (about 1:00pm) the graduating class of 2006 walked down the isle to receive their diplomas. After the graduation Ethan, my brother and I went to Coolidge Park. Once we got there we drove around looking for a parking place. We did not find one so we headed on over to Elizabeth's house for her and Jessica's graduating party. On the way we stopped at Bi-Lo to get some cheese and crackers to share. (Memo to self: don't shop for food when you are hungry). At the party we talked and ate and wrote cards and then we danced (of course!). That was sooo much fun!!! From there we went to Nathan and Allison's party at the sub shop. Unfortunately it was mostly over but we did get to say hi and visit a little while.

Last Sunday (the 4th):
We went to church of course then my brother and I went to Jeffrey's birthday party. When we arrived someone accidentally set off the alarm. It was bad, and really loud. We had fun anyway. We played dodge ball...I got wapped in the head...by Mr. A... I forgive you Mr. A. but there will be a day...
So after the party we just sorta hung out at Oakwood till church time.

hey girl! Sounds like your weeks are packed full! :-) So, is mock trial over? I so wished I had competed in mock trial when I was in High School! It seems like so much fun!

Love you!

Where to you have those dance classes? I've had a few lessons from an instructor who came to our last few venture dances, but have been looking for places to go and really learn.
