Then tomorrow evening I am going to see the graduation ceremony at Summit for one of my brothers. It's hard to believe it's already been two weeks. I have missed him though. It's been strange not having him here.
The day before yesterday, which was Tuesday, I met a girl from Germany. She spoke English pretty well considering. She is an exchange student who came to America for her first time and is staying five weeks. It was really neat to talk with her. Her name was Inga and she was 15. She could ride horses well and was a Christian on top of that. I got her email address so maybe we can keep in touch. One thing I found particularly interesting was that she never had eaten peanut butter before. America, consider yourself blessed, we have peanut better.
School is going to be starting not too long off. I will be a junior this year. Scary. That means next year is my last year before I graduate. One thing I am looking forward to is the cooler weather. However, I know as soon as it gets here I'm going to be wishing it was warm again, funny how that works out.
I went to the library the other day. I checked out a book called Seventh Grade Tango. I read it in about two days. I liked it. It was a simple story.
I kind of marvel at all the different things I learned at Knox last year. I learned how to take notes and read faster and analyze things better. Over all I think it was a good experience, [imagine that].
My two oldest brothers are out of town too. So for about the past couple of weeks I've been the oldest sibling. Not too strange really.
Well, I need to get off of here and eat lunch. Hopefully I will be able to go back to the barn and ride again today.
