Life has been going on as usual. School will be starting on Tuesday. That will be my Algebra class. Wednesday I have a Government class and Thursday I have a Physical Science class. We will be studying grammar at home and then composition next semester.
Mock Trial will be starting in a few short weeks. September 11 will be our first meeting. The following weekend which is the 22nd and 23rd will be the retreat. The Blue Tornado Competition won't occur till November 11th but we will be practicing in the mean time. I am starting to get psyched about it! I read through the whole case last night. The BT case is so much simpler than the regionals case.
I don't know how much I will be able to work at the barn when school starts. I expect my time will pretty much be absorbed by other things.
My mother says she is willing to pay for private dance lessons for my brother and me. That's going to be a lot of fun as well.
Speaking of dancing we went dancing the other night. It was a sort of back-to-school dance with a bunch of other homeschoolers. My brother and I knew a few more steps than most of the other people, but we had a pretty challenging time following the timing of the music. That's what we always have trouble with; I'm sure it will come with practice though. (That's what happens when two white people try to dance.) :-D We have fun anyway. We also attempted a few aerials. I would say 4 out of 5 were successful. I need to clean out the stalls today before we go back to church and I would also like to take a short nap so I better get off of here.
P.S.
I just realized something! I've had a blog for over a year. My, how time flies! Here is a link where I posted exactly a year ago today.
