2 hours and counting...

Today is the long awaited Mock Trial retreat. I expect it to be very productive and a lot of fun. I'm don't feel as prepared for it as I should, but I guess I am more prepared for it than I was last year. However, that is to be expected, on account of me being a veteran mock trialer and all.
My test went okay yesterday. I felt fairly confident about it because I had studied for it. I won't know how I did on it till next week.
It does not look like we are going to have puppies. My mother is firmly against the idea, even though she would probably have very little to do with them if we did have them. No use in arguing with one's mother though, not at all; probably do just as much good if not more, to argue with the wall. Anyway, you get my point.

I have come across several blogs on the net that I find very interesting. I really like how they can communicate in complete and coherent paragraphs. They transfer their thoughts with clarity and understanding about the subjects about which they write. I appreciate how much their topics flow across the screen, how seamless their words are compiled. The thing I think I like most about them is that they are home schooled. It makes me proud to be counted in their number. Thank you to all you home schoolers who take the time to write differently than their none home schooling peers.

I to find it refreshing to read another person's work that is clearly stated, even someone's work that is verbose. I understand the point you were trying to make, and that it is good to have pride in your community of home schoolers. Their articulation and usage of a large vernacular are usually very well rounded and clean. However, please do not discredit those of us who went to public school and have excelled in our writing methods. Thank you.

Thank you anonymous for stopping by and enduring my loquaciousness. I understand your viewpoint and to say that all non-home schoolers are poor writers would be a gross generalization. I apologize for my vague comment. I hope you did not take it offensively because it was not intended for that purpose. Thank you for commenting. I enjoy getting feedback on what I write, however critical it may be.

I agree...I always enjoy reading blogs with a lot of thought and meaning to the particular topic that is being talked about. I need to learn to do that more! lol...
