I just don't get on here much do I; anyway, October was a blur. Lots of working out and family stuff went on. I turned 18. [WOOT] It’s kind of weird being an official adult.
November has also come in a rush. I cannot believe Thanksgiving is already over. Everyone is getting ready for Christmas now. I'm just not ready for Christmas to be here doggonit!
Since my last post I have discontinued both my photography class for a while and my participation in the debate team. Basketball has monopolized my life! I think I'm okay with that though. It's different and challenging. It has made me stretch and grow in all sorts of ways, especially in the character department. School has been interesting. Our new teacher is doing well with whole "teach four grades in one class" type deal. I like her most of the time and she's pretty easy to get along with. She also smiles and laughs a lot (that helps).
This fall has been so cottonpickn' gorgeous! The colors on the trees have been outstanding. I adore all the variety and general boldness of them all.
Last night I went to a masquerade dance. I made my own mask and everything. It was pretty fun. My dance partner (a.k.a. my brother) barely made it to the dance before the last couple of songs played. That made me sad. He had to work and then got lost on the way. He finally made for which I was thankful (partially because he was my ride home).
