Game Show

First person, me
Second person, you
Third person, him

Threading [my] life with memories and moments
Birthdays, dances, classes
Celebrating, learning, teaching

In silence, I breathe
moving to the perfect pulse of time
chiming in when I am distracted
Reminding me to [listen]

I fight the flow
with all my might
struggling not to let go
not to relax and
stand, [still]

I write history on the days of [our] lives
Seeing, hearing, smelling change
Hi baby, pumpkin
He greets me at the door with a smile
You heard him answer me

Touching, feeling, trust
Metaphorically speaking
with intonation internationally connecting
(Hold me)

Seriously, I mean,
for real.
(Take me)

Hear me say
I [don't] need him,
but I want him
to want me
to want him
in freedom and joy

Directing power in a uniform of professionalism
impressing speed on my body with blood
pumping in and out, in and out with warmth
burning my skin
with care, to touch my hair
with love, he meets my eyes
with peace, he holds my hand
[gingerly], without regret

{Truth is}, pleasure
is not a sin
is not a crime
is not a pathetic reason for which to get up in the morning

Patchwork, fading with use
he holds tight to the seconds, the minutes, the hours
(you are here
with me)

Conventionally, working with skill
Analyzing, to death the instances of vibration
Tempting, questions hide in the shadows
[Rules] pooling a bet I will (lose)
on you
but {win} in the end.

Very interesting, dude. Keep these coming. Your poetic voice is continuing to crystallize.
