The fiction of our lives
                           overlap
and intertwine
           like characters in a love story
Thinly spliced together with dental floss,
lipstick, high-heeled shoes and neck ties.

It's a paper-thin story-line drenched in
superlative adjectives and lyrics that
don't rhyme.

Dribbling on and on and on the floor
without hitting the hoop or
making a score.
