I did an unusual thing for Valentine’s Day; I delivered Valentine flowers for a floral shop. I've done it before, it's just the majority of the population does not, which makes it uncommon. I over heard some one say that today was "Singleness awareness day". It struck me as kind of funny. Most single people would shrug it off if they did not get some chocolate, or flowers, or even a card, but deep down inside, (for the girls at least), they are wondering if anybody really cares, more specifically cares about them. I believe mostly this stems from the Fall. When Adam wimped out and was passive toward Eve about the snake. Ever since then she has always wondered if she will be pursued and fought for. Every girl knows that deep down inside that even if she were to be fought over it would not be enough, at least not long term. Guys on the other hand always wonder if they have what it takes to fight for her. They wonder if they are man enough to step out of their comfort zone and risk what they have, whether it be enough or not, for their woman. It is seemingly a tragically romantic parodox. However, it is leaving out one key ingredient, God; because with God nothing is impossible. You can learn more of this by reading John Eldredge's Wild at Heart and the sequel that he and his wife wrote Captivating. They are very enlightening books. I would highly recomend them.
And so, I still have a lot of home work to do.

Adam did whip, but he also passed the blame for his sin on Eve,who then passed blame onto satan. So that makes everyone whimps, luckaly God is not passive or a wimp,
so happy St. Valentines, may the Lord bless and keep you.
