Daylilies

I worked five hours today at the daylily garden that I work at. I picked up scapes and raked leaves and I emptied a few planting trays of dirt as well. The weather was nice all day, even though it got hotter as the day went on. The lady I work for said she probably wouldn’t have as much work for me to do as last year because she is forgoing planting new seedlings this year. She wants to see how last year's seedlings turned out before she chooses the ones she does and does not want to keep. What that means is all I will be doing this year for her is weeding, mulching and deadheading.
I've gtg now, so toodaloo for today.

Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving a comment! I appreciate it!

I think there will be a seven year tribulation because of what Daniel's Seventy Weeks Prophecy says. It talks about a covenant that shall be made. This covenant is a "one week" covenant and one week is thought to mean seven years. This covenant will kick off the final seven years of the tribulation. In fact, Daniel 9:27 talks about this covenant being broken off in the middle and the sacrifices and offerings being brought to the end. In Daniel 12:11 it says:

And from the time that the daily sacrifice is taken away, and the abomination of the desolation shall be set up, there shall be 1,290 days.

This time the sacrifices are taken away is the same as what Daniel 9:27 says. The time that they are taken away, it shall be 1,290 days or 3.5 years. If the sacrifices are cut off in the middle, and 3.5 years is the middle, then seven is the definite time of the tribulation.

I believe that Christ will come before the Rapture, to take His church up to heaven. There will definetly be a Rapture based on what Thessalonians tells us. Christ will come twice. Once for the church and the next time to defeat satan and his beast which is in Rev. 20. Christ needs to come twice. Once so that we can be caught up in the clouds with Him and once to defeat satan and to begin the Millenium.

Hopefully that answers your question. :)

THanks for the comment. Feel free to ask any more questions.

Thanks for answering my questions, but I have some more. I thought that Jesus has already defeated Satan. He defeated him during the time He was in hell after His crucifixion. He took the keys to death, hell, and the grave from Satan and put Satan under His feet.

Jesus did already defeat Satan's power over us. Death no longer has to hurt us. However, satan is still at work deceiving people. Just because he is defeated does not mean he cannot deceive people. Revelation 20 tells us that he will be bound and eventually later in Rev. that he will be cast into the lake of fire. Then he will not be able to deceive after he is in the lake of fire.

I really don't know a whole lot about the prophesies in Daniel, but I would lke to know why it matters. Why does it matter if we know if there is going to be a 7-year tribulation or not? What does it change?

It matters a lot. First off, for those who come to Christ during that time, they will know how long they will be there waiting for Christ. Seven years also limits the time the antichrist has on earth for his kingdom. Seven years also concludes the a certain amount of time that completes parts of the Seventy Weeks Prophecy of Daniel 9. All in all, seven is very important and God put it there for us to find and know.

That is a book I wrote on the book of Daniel.

Hello Abby. hm... yes... daylilies. I used to like gardening, until I killed everything I touched... So I kinda gave up. I might work with orchids this summer though, under strict supervision of course... hehe.

P.S. Thanks for the 'girl' advice. Feel free to call me out on anything like that. Us men are rather clueless and insensitive, I am attempting to thwart it. haha (good luck for me).
