PROM! Yep, it was this past Thursday. I must say it was an interesting expirience. It was a lot of fun at moments. Stressful, yes, frustrating, yes, cold, yes ten times over. I believe over all though, it was a more positive than negative expirience.
This is how it went.
Wednesday night this guy called and asked me if I would go with him to prom. Since it was the next day I said sure.
The next day I packed up my things and left my abode for algebra class. After algebra I got a bite to eat and went back for my science class. Science was unusually cruel that day but I finally mustered through it. Once I had dropped my brothers off at their destination I went to get my hair done. It took approximately an hour and a half, but when it was complete I was satisfied. From there I went to my comrade's house to get ready. I helped fix her hair and donned my dress. Then in a hurry and flurry we splashed some paint on our bodies and nails. Our ride soon appeared and we were whisked away to dinner. Upon arrival we met up with my afore mentioned date. We promptly ordered, as soon as I was finished stealing silverware and napkins. A few pictures were taken and sumptuous vittles were consumed. My partener in crime pretty much knew everyone at the restaurant except I regret, the waiter named Wesley...I mean Ashley...What was her name?... We then arrived at the prom and were immediately pronounced "late" by all attendance thus far. This did not disturb us however, because we were all in a capital mood. We were photographed upon request and then proceeded to dance the night...I mean, the next hour and a half away.
Directly following the prom we all walked the bridge in below freezing temperatures and most generally froze. Then we went to my dearest friends' house and stayed up the rest of the night chatting like magpies or snoring up a storm.
And that my friends, concludes my experience of Prom 2007.
