Orientation

My eyes are glazing over and the caffeine from the coffee is making my vision whirl with wonder. I'm feeling a bit unfocused. How to translate... how to translate... how to translate into action?

The sky is gray outside today. The trees are complimentary shades of monochromatic blah. Though not unpleasant, the overall effect lacks variety. Their shapes stand out to me, all shooting off in multiple directions. They provide layers upon layers of benign branches and twigs waiting for the sun to appear so they can grow again.

This is winter.
