I should actually begin on Thursday.
Thursday I remember having the feeling of not getting anything of consequence done. I was feeling down about this fact. That afternoon I went out to eat with some really cool people and afterwards went to a Paladies class. During the class, guys kept walking in on us because their stuff was in the room the class was being held. One of the guys gave us all free tickets to the concert. We then stayed for the concert. The first band was some local band that I do not know and the second band was called Sevendust, I think. It was hardcore in the very sense of the word. I had never been to a concert like that before. It was quite an experience. I was rocking out with the best of them though I did not participate in the mosh pit.
After the concert my friend wanted to go running. She's just cool like that. It was about eleven at night but she was going to go anyway. I decided to go with her. Oh, my, goodness. I had never been running before. It was an amazing experience. I was poring sweat when we got back to the cars. I felt like I was going to breakdown and start crying at a couple of points. I found it difficult to get a good breath. I'm not sure how far we ran. I didn't run the entire way. I guess I was a pansy. I felt like I put forth a good effort though.
Well, yesterday again felt like a waste of my limited lifetime. I got precious little completed. Except for last night when we went dancing. I love dancing like a fat kid loves chocolate cake! I danced about 2 and half hours last night. It was blissful [most of the time].
Today, however, I feel like I made up at least a little bit for the past couple of days as far as physical exertion goes.
This morning I got up and took care of a horse named Taxi. I cleaned 3 stalls for the hour while I was there. From there I went to the other barn and cleaned about 10 stalls. It took me approximately 3 hours. From there I went home and ate lunch and then went to work at the daylily garden where I am a part time employee/the only employee. I worked 2 and half hours there. Then I swam for about 20 minutes, got dried off and went running. I ran about three-fourths of a mile and walked the rest of it, which took a total of about 15 minutes.
When I got home, I got a shower. Then I went to Riverbend. I parked at least a mile or two away from where I met my other friend before we met up with my brother. We walked around some more and finally ate supper about 8ish.
After the concert was over we walked back to my brother's car. We all agreed that I should not park so far away next time. But hey, it was free and I didn't have any trouble getting home from where I was parked.
This concludes my day’s events. I am sore, but I shan't complain. I feel good about what I have done.
Now I must go to bed, because I have to get up really early and take care of Taxi again.
